For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. In our struggles with the desires of THIS world; and with the effects of sin (illness, pain, death, and evil), we can easily lose sight of our Savior - Jesus Christ. We need to rely on the power of Christ in our battles against evil. 1 Peter 5:8-9 (REV) Be clearheaded! Be watchful! Your opponent, the Devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Stand firm against him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same kind of sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.
