A. God's True Light - We are warned about false doctrines taught and promoted by Satan (the Angel of Light) and his deceiving demons. 1 Timothy 4:1 (NKJV) Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. There are two types of translation: Formal Equivalence (word for word) and Dynamic Equivalence (thought for thought). Unfortunately, Religious self-interest and human ideas have affected translations. Ask yourself two questions:

Is a translation accurate and reliable to the original text?
Are we filtering God's Word through a religious belief system?

Apart from the Spirit of the Living God, the human mind cannot comprehend the thoughts and ways of God. Isaiah 55:8-9 (REV) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.

B. Experiencing God's Light - The only place we find God's light is in His Son, Jesus Christ. John 8:12 (REV) Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who continues to follow me will not ever walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Only in Christ can we connect with the true and living God to find the purpose, meaning, and direction that He designed for each of us. Ephesians 2:10 For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

C. Finding God's Truth - True faith is found in understanding God’s Truth, not a blind acceptance of Religious or Human Tradition. Mark 7:6-9 (REV) And He said to them, “Isaiah prophesied rightly about you hypocrites, as it is written, this people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And they show devotion to Me in vain, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men. Abandoning the commandment of God, you hold firmly to the tradition of men.” We are taught from God's Word of Truth (the Bible) by God's Spirit of Truth (His Holy Spirit). 1 John 2:26-27 (NKJV) These things I have written to you concerning those who try to deceive you. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
